here's a old post for people still struggling with pics. I know too well how hard it seems, but once you figure it out, its a breeze!
The EZCodes are very simple compared to HTML, they just don't explain it very well. if your pictures are stored on the net via a web page or something you just enable EZCODES under your preferences. Then
(i will use parentheses instead of brackets) do this
(image)your pic location (/image) its that simple! why they add all the www.ezboard/image.logo.gif between the brackets i don't know. I guess its their attempt to explain it.
By "pic location" it should be something like members.aol.com/screename/foldername/pic#.jpg
For AOL users, use KEYWORD "MY SPACE" then create a folder i.e. presapics, then d-load each pic to your space.
A word of advice put some typing between pics so they post vertically instead of horizontally. example
DOG Playing catch
PICTURE
DOG BITING NEIGHBOR
PICTURE
etc.etc.
Hope this helps all who need it.
AOL USERS
1. hit keyword and type in " my space"
2. Click 2nd arrow on right it says "see my FTP space"
3. it should be a rectangular box click "create directory." name your folder for your dog pics, i.e. PRESAPICS etc. click "continue"
4. Click "upload" name your pics i.e. sanchosleepin.jpg I don't think you need the .jpg, but i put it there to be safe. click "continue"
5. Click select file (bottom left of upload window) this takes you back to your windows system.
6. Tell windows to get you pics i keep mine on my C drive under my cameras program, some people have them all on floppy, just direct windows like you would with any other AOL e-mail pic. then hit send (top left of upload window)
7. Do this for every pic for that particular folder.
I think thats real close and i can tell you its a pain in the butt with a country modem connection like mine! It is however 10x easier than a AOL webpage!!
Hope this helps

Alex we should move this somewhere so it can be accessed frequently for visitors wanting to share pics.
